Refund policy

Approval & Eligibility

Returns must be authorized before shipping items back. Please reach out via email after reading our return & refund policy. We will notify you if the return is authorized or if the return request contains items that are non-returnable.

What is eligible for return?

  • Unused items in their original packaging not covered in the below section are eligible for return & refund within 30 days of the original delivery date.

What is not eligible for return?

  • All sales on custom, blem, scratch & dent, used, sale, or other reduced-price products are ineligible for return or refund.
  • Shipping costs.
  • Any item not in its original condition, damaged, or missing parts.
  • Tools are not eligible for return.
  • Engine components (e.g. valve covers) are ineligible for return if the packaging has been opened.
  • Products showing signs of wear, damage, installation, abuse, or alteration (including damage incurred in the return shipping) may not be eligible for a full refund. Partial refunds will be assessed on a case-by-case basis, and may result in zero refund.

  • Write “RMA #[order number]” in permanent marker on the outside of the box (e.g. RMA #SW1001).
  • Place the packing slip or order receipt on the inside of the box.
  • You are responsible for arranging the return shipping and associated costs.
  • We request that you send the tracking number for your products in response to our return authorization email. You are responsible for any shipping insurance. Stimmt Works is not responsible for lost or damaged packages.
  • The date the package is received at the shipping carrier facility must be within 30 days of the original delivery date to be eligible for return.
  • If received items are used, damaged, or otherwise non-returnable according to this policy and no refund is issued the customer is responsible for return shipping to them (if desired).

Refunds

  • Once your return is received and inspected, you will receive an email notifying you of the return status and we will process the refund (if the return is accepted).
  • Returns incur a 15% restocking fee, this will be deducted from the refund amount.
  • Refunds will typically be processed to the original payment method. This may take up to 10 business days to appear in your account (non-US accounts may take longer).
  • Should you desire store credit instead of a refund to your original payment method a store credit code can be issued. This is the recommended refund method if you plan to re-order products, as funds will be available as soon as the return is processed.

Disclaimer of Warranties

Stimmt Works is not liable for damage or injury, whether direct, consequential, or incidental, that may have occurred using products or components manufactured or sold by Stimmt Works. Stimmt Works makes no guarantee of personal safety or freedom from injury in the use of its products.

Products manufactured and/or sold by Stimmt Works are sold as-is with no express or implied warranties beyond the "Limited Warranty" listed below. Any and all implied warranties, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, are excluded.

It is the responsibility of the buyer or any agent(s) of the buyer (referred to herein as "Buyer") to verify the specifications of the purchased product(s) for the intended use of the Buyer. Stimmt Works makes no guarantee of functionality or effects when used in conjunction with other vehicle components, whether aftermarket or OE, and as such it is the responsibility of the Buyer to verify functionality and compatibility of any purchased parts or products. Furthermore, Stimmt Works disclaims any liability for damage, injury, expenses, or losses of any kind as a direct or indirect result of installation or use, whether proper or improper, from products sold by Stimmt Works.

Auto manufacturers' names or marques are used purely for informative purposes. Stimmt Works makes no claims or implications of a connection between these entities, Stimmt Works, and/or products manufactured by Stimmt Works.

Limited Warranty

    Stimmt Works warrants to the Buyer that Products will not be defective in material or workmanship (the Limited Warranty). Stimmt Works is not liable for a breach of the limited warranty if:

    1. Buyer makes Stimmt Works aware of defect beyond 14 days of the received date as marked on the shipment tracking or after the product has been used, installed, or is otherwise not in as-received condition.

    2. Buyer does not make reasonable effort to allow Stimmt Works to verify the defective claim

    3. Buyer or a third party modify or repair the Product

    4. Product was sold at a discounted rate (blem, used, scratch & dent, etc.)

    Stimmt Works Products may contain, be contained in, be packaged with, or otherwise incorporate products manufactured by a third party. These third party products are not covered under the limited warranty, with the only warranty being that of the original manufacturer (if applicable).

    Should a replacement be needed according to the limited warranty, Stimmt Works will coordinate & cover costs for shipping. The carrier will be chosen at Stimmt Works' discretion. Subject to Stimmt Works' discretion, buyer may be required to ship defective unit back to Stimmt Works via a return label included with the replacement product. Should a return of the defective product not be required, buyer agrees to never resell the defective unit.
