Porsche Shift Cable Alignment Tool (986, 996, 987, 997)

This tool aids in aligning your 6-speed transmission shift cables by locking the shift lever in its centered, neutral position when disconnected from the shift cables. By securing the shift lever, the cables can be clipped into place without any preload ensuring the proper left-right and front-back shifter travel is maintained.

Fits all 9x6 and 9x7 6-speed OEM shifter assemblies - see above OEM equivalent part number to ensure compatibility. Short-shift kit (SSK) and GT3 assemblies fit more snugly as the shift lever sits lower in the alignment tool. 3rd photo shows a stock 996 shift assembly (not included).
